2nd, Frankfurt Fraport: 79,81 euros in taxes
Germany’s largest airport in Frankfurt ranks second in the ranking of the world’s most expensive airports. At the Fraport, passengers are hit by three taxes: the “air tax” amounts to 45 euro. The “security fee” is at 6.54 euro. Finally, under the name “International passenger service charge”, a passenger must pay an additional tax of 28.27 euros.
In total it costs for each transcontinental traveler 79,81 euro.
